Happy Hunting

First day of deer season. Nice to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Didn't see any buck, but I did get a doe.

This is the view from my tree stand. So peaceful and serene...absolutly perfect.

Nice to see you again

Had a class reunion tonight...It was great catching up with people who were such a big part of your life, and yet so easily disappear.

JFK Reloaded

Yes just what you have been waiting for ... a video game that gives you a chance to shoot JFK just like Lee Harvey Oswald did back in 1963.

This goes to show how sick our society has become.

Today's Word is: Embezzlement

Embezzlement is defined as "the fraudulent conversion of property of another by a person in lawful possession of that property". Crimes of this nature generally have involved a relationship of trust and confidence, such as an agent, fiduciary, trustee, treasurer, or attorney.

In other words...it's GREED.

You have to wonder... Do you really think you're not going to get caught ?

I hope it was worth it. This is very very sad :(

Just in Time for the Holidays !

Interested in finding the perfect Christmas gift. Well this is it. Everybody is interested in weight loss, so this is the perfect gift.

The Colon Cleansing Kit™

Most people have 5-10 pounds of matter stored in their Colon... According to autopsies, John Wayne had 40 lbs and Elvis had 60 lbs.

What a perfect gift :)

Bad Santa

I just watched the movie, Bad Santa, this is by far, the greatest Christmas Movie ever made. Absolutely hilarious. Highly recommended. I need to buy this one, renting just doesn't cut it.

God Bless the person who has to try and edit this film for television.

History Repeating Itself ?

There is a saying that "History Repeats Itself", that being said, look at the map below of how people voted in the last presidential election and the map of the pre-civil war United States.

Well... what do you think ? While I don't think we are going to have another civil war, this map tells me that intellectually as a country we haven't grown very much.

:( The Reality of Living in NEPA

Just read this morning that our County Taxes are going to rise by 33%. The County Commissioners ran on the platform that if elected they would reduce taxes by 25%. Last I checked 25+33=58. So my County taxes are going to be 58% higher than expected. Nice. I hate when politicians make statements just to get elected. They state they didn't know how bad the deficit was before they took office. If that's the case then how can you make promises without knowing all the details? The reality is even worse. We live in an area filled with elderly people. So we are going to be stuck paying the taxes. I am really starting to hate living here.

Oh yea...one more thing...it snowed last night. I hate ####### snow !

WWADRD ?

Do you ever get stressed out about life? Wonder what is going to happen next? An easy way to combat these pressures is to think, What Would a Dumbass Republican Do?

I received an email from a friend today in which she posted an article from by Nicholas D Kristof of The NY Times. This pretty much sums up the problems with the Democratic Party in the US. Here are some exerpts from that article.

"John Kerry's supporters are now feeling wretched about the millions of farmers, factory workers and waitresses who ended up voting - utterly against their own interests - for Republican candidates."

To put it another way, Democrats peddle issues, and Republicans sell values. Consider the four G's: God, guns, gays and grizzlies.

"The Republicans are smarter," mused Oregon's governor, Ted Kulongoski, a Demoocrat. "They've created ... these social issues to get the public to stop looking at what's happening to them economically."

To appeal to middle America, Democratic leaders don't need to carry guns to church services and shoot grizzlies on the way. But a starting point would be to shed their inhibitions about talking about faith, and to work more with religious groups.

Otherwise, the Democratic Party's efforts to improve the lives of working-class Americans in the long run will be blocked by the very people the Democrats aim to help.

How cute is this picture ?

"W"tf ?

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at lastand the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." -H.L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)

I am so depressed today. First the Yankees lose to the Sox and now this.

The fact that people would put Bush back in office for another 4 years, when having him there 4 more days is too many. I am convinced now that Americans are under educated. We have too many people who can't think for themselves, they need to watch CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC and have others tell them what to think. We laughed at the Iraqi press secretary who would go on the air and say that Iraq is winning the war when our troops were entering the country. Who's laughing now?

Hope everyone enjoys paying $2.00+ / a gallon for gas.

Tomorrow's the Big Day

Get out and vote tomorrow... and VOTE KERRY. Even if you don't like him, he's 100 times better than Bush. Here is a cool site to help interpret all the poll results you've been seeing and the electoral college vote.

This is the kind of support I like to see.

Still not convinced that you want to vote. Maybe attending a party like this will change your mind. If this doesn't, nothing will.
