Just another great St. Patrick's Day Parade day in Scranton this year. Weather was warm, the crowds were huge.

PSU Orange Bowl - Instant Classic !

One of the most intense, and nerve wracking football games I have ever watched. It reminded me of a Yankees - Red Sox playoff game.

Congrats to PSU ! Nice to finally see you playing football in January again !

...in a sad note... my thoughts and prayers are with the families of the Coal Miners who were killed in West Virginia. What a crappy way to start 2006 :(

First time on Skates !

Annie went Ice Skating for the first time today and had a blast. She didn't fall once !

Skate-O-Rama !

Went rollar skating yesterday for the first time in about 20 yrs.

Last time I went it was at Skate-O-Rama and the music was My Sharona !

JohnNY Damon - Captain Shaveman !

Look who is the latest Red Sox to jump ship and join the Yankees ... none other than JohnNY Damon.

This is great ... now we can watch as the Boston Press and the Red Sox front office start a smear campaign against him, as if he was the worst player to ever put on a Sox uniform.

Funny how Boston's stars always want to come to the Yankees, but you never see the Yankees star players wanting to join the Sox.

My guess is for $52 million Johnny Damon will be able to afford a really good razor now.

SNOW DAY #2

Another day off from school for the girls. Snow and ice last night, so school was canceled. Could be a long winter at this rate.

Annie & Emily were not complaining !

Had a Snow Day today ! No School or Work ! Mother Nature dropped off a foot of #$%@(_+^ snow last night. So we took this opportunity to make our annual trek with the Sokoloski's to find the perfect Christmas Tree. Once again...we failed ! Marion and the girls had fun while I trudged through the snow looking for the tree. ;) ;)

MURTHA SAYS: BRING 'EM HOME

The Hawk has spoken... Rep. John Murtha, Chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Committee , wants the troops out of Iraq now. WOW! He wields a lot of power because of his position... this could really start to turn the tide against the Bush regime.

Murtha is also a decorated Veteren of the Vietnam War. This should prove to be interesting.

Big Pimpn' his way to $52 million

The Yankees resigned Matsui last night for 4 years $52 million. Again...the Yanks probably overpaid, but he is a class act, and I'd rather see a guy like him make the money than a loser like Terrell Owens.

Hey T.O. if you wanted to make really big $$, you should of played baseball.

Just as I had posted on October 27, Bush has now appointed a radical conservative for the Supreme Court. Harriet Miers was just a smoke screen, who had planned to withdraw all along. (and yes we can not wait for book to hit the shelves)

The American people are so naive, they don't understand all this is scripted. Nominating Alito was the plan all along. Now as soon as people complain about him... all the talk show hosts will say...they didn't want Miers and now they don't want Alito... you can't satisfy the liberals.

People need to wake up !

Harriet Miers withdraws nomination to the Supreme Court

White House Counsel Harriet Miers withdrew her nomination to the Supreme Court. Now this is a shock ! You know what... I am withdrawing my nomination too. What the hell... since I have spent as much time being a judge as Ms. Miers, then what right do I have to be Supreme Court Justice.

I have said from the beginning that this was a set up. Bush has some radically conservative judge he wants to slip in, so he put up Ms. Miers...she would stir up all kinds of controversy, and withdraw, and now they can slip in the person they really wanted all along.

Just Watch !

World Series Ratings Down Over 30%

Without the Yankees or the Red Sox in the World Series the TV ratings are down over 30%.

I see that Lynn Swann is running for governor. I guess standing on the sidelines of a football game and reporting why a team decided to go on 4th down rather than kick a field goal makes him qualified.

This is a joke. Of course in this country full of idiots that would elect Bush to a 2nd term, I guess anything is possible.

I wondering if he'll take O.J to be his Lt. Governor. ;)

This picture pretty much sums it up. The water isn't going anywhere fast so you might as well make the best out of it.

Rehnquist Dies ... Does anyone really care ?

I see that Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist died. The guy should of retired years ago.

Does anyone really care? Why is this even newsworthy?

The Supreme Court lost all credibility after the 2000 election... when they all voted strictly according to political party lines... and APPOINTED Bush to the presidency. Not just Rehnquist. All of them.

I'll bet the people of New Orleans are happy today with the Court's selection.

This is just the latest opportunity the Bush Administration has had to unite the country... and has failed.

The Bush administration has been a catastrophe.

Now we get to watch the Senate hearings which are a joke and all for show. They will bombard the nominee with difficult questions which they will fail to answer... but in the end they will kiss each others ass. Just another waste of tax payer money.

Hurricane Katrina has destroyed most of the gulf coast states. New Orleans will never be the same. Very, very sad :( I'm glad I was able to visit there the few times I did. I would like to say I have great memories of New Orleans, but to be honest... you drink so much while you're there, it's hard to remember anything.

Mt. St. Steinbrenner

Mt. St. Steinbrenner has got to be ready to explode. Yanks blew another game last night. How can pitchers be in the major leagues and not be able to throw a strike? Two nights in a row ... to the Devil Rays of all teams. Pathetic :(

That Disney Magic !

We got to experience 102 degrees of Disney Magic. Way too freaking hot ! Girls loved it of course. Marion and I really don't care if we ever go back.

Fireworks were fantastic...otherwise I'd rather go to Knobels.

Hey we're in Cocoa Beach for the launching of the Space Shuttle. It was cool to see, but to be perfectly honest..you see more on TV... kinda like watching a football game. Hope the crew has a safe flight.
