A Grand Farewell !

The Yanks closed the book tonight on Yankee Stadium. Being a life long Yankees fan it was real enjoyable tribute to the old ballpark. I am really glad I got to take one last trip there this year for the Home Run Derby. That being said ... lets turn the page ... already looking forward to seeing what the "new" Yankee Stadium holds in store.

Newton Lake MNF Tailgating 2008

For the second week in a row ... Newton Lake tailgating has been in full swing. Once again we had great weather, cold beer, football and of course great friends.

Great Start !

A great start to the NFL season last night ... the Giants beat up on the Redskins. Newton Lake tailgating was mid-season form. It was a great night, perfect weather, cold beer and football.

Crappy weather this weekend ... in between the raindrops, I spent time doing work around the house . I did manage to get this wall built. Now if I could just figure out what to plant here. Anyone have suggestions ... let me know?
