Had to make our annual trip up to Pocono Mountain (since the AACJF can't figure out how to schedule games ... we have to go there every year ! ). Of course playing football in August the temperature was close to 100 degrees ... kids were actually crying they did not want to go back into the game. It's sad when Jr Football gets to this. Absolutely no common sense !
That being said ... we were proud of Annie and Emily and the other kids for sticking it out, regardless of the poor decisions by adults to have kids play football in July and August :(

Amen ! Somebody else said what I have been saying for years ! Why are little kids playing football in the summer .. no wonder kids don't want to play when they get to high school!
The whole ACCJF is a mess.
The people that run these Jr Sports programs put too much emphasis on winning and not on teaching. Is it necessary to have playoffs and championships for kids at that age? Couldn't you just give a trophy to the team with the best record at the end of the season?
The top 4 teams should make the playoffs period . This league is run by a bunch of people who still want to be high school football stars. No brains whatsoever !
